Well the game has been going really smoothly for me up until this point. I had my vacation and everything and really made a strong connection with a couple of people. Jamez won the first HoH and he and I hit it off well so I felt safe. Then last week April was HoH and she I know each other from a different game so I kinda threw that out there to her for some safety then, but now Kevin won.......I had 0 contact with Kevin. Not to mention he had tried to contact me several times and Ive never responded to him (not on purpose, but it just kinda happened by accident) and Boogie won the Power of Veto. Out of everyone in the game, Boogie and Kevin are the 2 people Ive talked to the least.
So I contacted Kevin and asked him about this week just to kinda feel him out. He mentioned putting me up as a pawn against April, April nominated him last week and now he wants her gone. So I suggested to him instead to nominate Boogie/April so that Boogie has no choice but to use his Veto on himself. Then put someone else as a replacement and I would promise him a vote agaisnt April. I had to play up that April is popular and that getting her out wont be very simple so he needs all the votes he can get to help him. So he eventually told me he would NOT nominate me this week if I would help him in the future. So I feel he has no reason to lie to me at this point in the game, plus since hes a threat, he needs all the helpers he can find for the future.
Karen showed me a message from a grim reaper that said she needed 2 more events to happen, between Winning HoH, winning Veto or survivng a vote.....Kevin has done all of these things so that tells me he has some sort of special power. Meaning I need to solidify my bond with him so that his power wont be used against me. I dont have the control over the game (yet) to take down a skilled comp player AND a special power player like Kevin. So Ill just join him for the moment and be his partner......which is a big 180 since going into this week if I won HoH I was gonna nominate Boogie and Kevin. How ironic!
